Non-Licensure Masters of Education (MEd)

Students who do not seek educator licensure may choose to advance their educational credentials through a non-licensure Masters of Education (MEd) at MCLA. An individualized plan of study is developed by the student in consultation with the graduate advisor. One of the unique features of the program is challenging students to become involved in the construction of their own graduate program, selecting learning experiences that are congruent with their needs and interests. A cohort model MEd program with an Early Childhood (non-licensure) focus is expected to begin in Pittsfield in Fall 2016.
