College: 

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) concentration leading to a Bachelor’s Degree is designed to prepare individuals to work in a variety of early education settings.

Associates of Science in Early Childhood Education

This course of study is designed to meet the ever-expanding needs for trained personnel in the field of early learning and childcare.

Associates of Science in Early Childhood Career Option

This program is designed for those students interested in teaching in a community-based, group day care setting.

Associates of Science in Early Childhood Transfer Option

This program is designed for students interested in transferring to a four year school for a degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K through Grade2).

Certificate in Daycare Administration

This program is designed for child care professionals who are Lead Teacher certified by the MA Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) or hold a degree in Early Childhood Education.

School of Professional and Continuing Studies: Bachelor of Science in ECE

The academic programs of Springfield College’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies are designed to meet the needs of working adults who wish to earn a degree in human services. Graduate classes normally meet one weekend each month, while undergraduate classes meet two weekends per month

Post-Baccalaureate Early Childhood Education

The post-baccalaureate early childhood education concentration prepares students for the initial license as an early childhood teacher, Pre-K through Grade 2.
