Mount Wachusett Community College

The Early Childhood Education program prepares you for positions in the field of early care and education or transfer for Bachelors degree.  You will develop skills and competencies in the growth and development of young children, curriculum, program & environment planning, family-teacher reltinoships & communication.  Practical experience will be provided through observation, field experiences and two practicums.

Highlights:

• The Early Childhood Career program is designed for those students interested in teacher in a group setting.
• The Early Childhood Transfer program is designed for those students interested in transferring to a four-year school for a Bachelors desgree in Early Childhood PreK-Grade 2.
• The Liberal Arts Concentration in Education is designed for those students intereted in transferring to a four-year school for a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education Grades 1-6.
