Becker College

The Becker College Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Youth Education program is designed to prepare students for the growing need for credentialed employees educated in areas that support curriculum development, program leadership, a deep understanding of child development, and an appreciation for the importance of quality child care and enrichment programs ranging from birth to age twelve.

Highlights:

Career opportunities include: infant/toddler teacher, early intervention specialist, preschool teacher, family support specialist, youth, child or family advocates, home-based services provider, parent advocate/mentor, after school program director, director of youth and family programming, camp director, preschool director and coach

Resources available:

Students may receive the early childhood scholarship, pell grants and federal loans

Student Supports provided:

Students have access to academic tutors and early childhood advisors to help students navigate the higher education system.

Programs Available

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education

College: 

The program will prepare you to be an Early Education and Care approved teacher or director in an early childhood center upon graduation. Students will complete a practicum in a center with excellent and diverse programs.
